CLAY COUNTY GIVES BACK!
/During the month of February, Clay County Fitness Center Zumba raised $200.00 for Kerrington’s Heart through numerous Zumba events within the community. All of this was in honor of Connor Hoskins, an 8 year old boy who was diagnosed with congenital heart defects (CHD) at birth.
Connor Hoskins was born April 19, 2011. He was diagnosed at birth with ASD, VSD, DORV, TGA, Dextrocardia, Pulmonary Stenosis and Single Coronary Artery. He had a PA Banding at 14 days old and a Rastelli procedure at 14 months old. Connor and his family found out in January 2020 that his conduits are at 50+ % and needs to be replaced. He will have a repeated echocardiogram (ECHO) in July and Connors medical team will plan surgery pending the results of his ECHO. Connor is a 2nd grader at Burning Springs Elementary School. He loves spending his time with his sister Jacee and his cousins. He loves going to church, camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, playing his Xbox with his cousin Maddix and riding his dirt bike.
A big thank you to Tammy Jones, Clay County Fitness Center Zumba as well as all those who came out to support Connors fight with CHD and Kerrington’s Heart. You can learn more about Kerrington’s Heart on our website www.kerringtonsheart.org.
